When you said you like Japanese sweets, I was thinking more like chocolate stuff. I don't usually think of beans and rice as sweet. Looks good though! I would need the chicken added

Once again, I'm so uncomfortable with the thought of black bean, rather than red bean, sweets. Nevertheless, I'm eager to try this recipe out. Could you link to the exact recipe?

Really? You should try a red bean milkshake sometime! Beans are kind of like rice in that they can play the part of dessert/sweet as well as part of the meal. But I'm used to red beans being used in this way; black beans, to me, aren't the "proper" dessert beans, but I'm willing to change my views on the subject. ;)

Do you mean this: "Then I put them in a pot with some water." That liquid does look like tea ... actually it's just water (coloured by cooking the beans).

By red beans, do you mean adzuki beans? Actually these are adzuki beans - I just realized I didn't say this in the video, which is kind of unhelpful. The actual recipe I used was a Japanese one and I can't remember the link - but I have put a link to another recipe which is pretty much the same. (In the video description above).
