Ultrasecond ::: Favorites As a skeptic and secular humanist, I find zeitgeist to be an appalling film. This is the absolute worst kind of dishonest superstition - speculation and paranoia masquerading as fact. This film references the much-debunked "Loose Change" for example, and also for its christ argument uses discredited AND VERY INCORRECT speculation about egyptian mythology among other things. Ultrasecond ::: Favorites 'Open your eyes' seems to be almost crackpot code for 'put on the blinders.' Because I sure as hell don't see you morons bothering to check up on the claims of this film, accepting them out of hand instead. If you did, you might think different since this film is perhaps one of the most dishonest pieces of trash I've ever laid eyes upon in recent memory. thealphamaster ::: Favorites I'm not going to go into what I have to say about what has been noted throughout the comments down there, but as a friend of a few of the theories that have so far been mentioned in this film, I still find it difficult to take seriously. Especially through the gross exagurations when referring to various mythic lore. GROSS exagurations. I must point out that I have studied many of these theories, and I do find many of them to be hard to ignore.(Yes, the Horus information is very inaccurate and refers mostly to Osiris) Also the bible states that Jesus' birthday is in March, not December 25th. (Which is somewhat true but he makes to effort to go into the reasons for the fish symbolisim and how christianity has linked itself to it)or perhaps how they refer to Jesus as the most recent widely celebrated messiah- which is wrong.
