Description: Correction to the video clip: The address for the restaurant called Karma is: Teryan 65, Yerevan, Armenia. During my recent visit to Yerevan I met hundreds of East Indian students at the medical school in Yerevan, speaking fluent Armenian. I also ran into a man called Danesh on Hyusisayin Boghoda (Northern Blvd), and spoke Armenian with him. I tried to get a better quality video, but the camcoder was in my hand, and even though they were very kind and entertaining people, they were not actors. I understand the Armenian content on this clip. I trust whatever was said in Hindi is helpful to my Indian friends. Danesh, the one featured in the second and third segments of this clip owns a very nice restaurant in Yerevan, called Karma. He had excellent Indian food for all of us. The phone number for the restaurant is: +374 10 58 92 15 |

meandpepsi ::: Favorites 2007-12-14 15:16:43 I guess I'm biased because I made this clip, but as an Armenian American I welcome these Indian students' presence in Armenia. If your logic was applied to us when we were sent to the Arab countries, they would have kicked us out. These students love Armenia. They are not there to take over, and having a few guests will not result in them taking over. I understand your concern, but I think international presence on our land is a good thing. __________________________________________________
Magmilitum ::: Favorites 2007-12-14 06:47:27 Is it just me that finds this disturbing. I really hope Armenia does not become a multicultural country like most of Europe and the Americas, if it does we are dead as a peoples. Our braves fought and died for Armenia, they did not die so foreigners can live and claim Armenia as thier own. __________________________________________________

BeautySavesWorld ::: Favorites 2007-12-04 14:40:57 so " vorchap aden" means "inchkan jamanak" wow...it is like Chinese for me lol __________________________________________________
meandpepsi ::: Favorites 2007-12-04 14:39:31 I kept saying "vorchap aden" to mean "for how long", and I kept being corrected by my relatives saying "inchkan zhamanag". I actually tried making a better video, but I guess the failure became more entertaining. __________________________________________________ |
