VWingTMA ::: Favorites 2007-11-26 01:57:28 Your ears are fine. I have my keyboard beside me here. but I don't however understand what he's saying about the *baritone* and what not :] but you're hearing CGCFAD. At least the first ones are for sure. but again. I don't know what he's explaining. I'm sure he's right tho haha :] I'm just saying what's on the vid __________________________________________________

bigmeat543 ::: Favorites 2007-11-22 17:02:43 the tuning of this song is standard is EBDGBE so in baritone that would obviously be BF#ADF#B and the first chord is 040032 haha __________________________________________________
alguira ::: Favorites 2007-11-17 16:17:01 OMFG this is 2 much. I would give anything in this worold to play this in front of every women (and guys) of my office xD. hahaha, awesome tune indeed. __________________________________________________
yumpin ::: Favorites 2007-11-13 19:26:29 its a baritone so its different __________________________________________________
jackaw69 ::: Favorites 2007-10-29 04:58:29 I didn't know Hagrid played that good !!! __________________________________________________
bernstrevor ::: Favorites 2007-10-19 23:11:01 if you listen to the harmonics the tuning is clearly CGCGCD the firs chord is 020300 __________________________________________________
luke23waltz ::: Favorites 2007-10-02 18:09:26 its a baritone thats why its lower, its ebdgbe __________________________________________________
victorolden ::: Favorites 2007-09-22 04:48:52 great sound!!! __________________________________________________
guitarmusic1 ::: Favorites 2007-09-12 08:10:46 ZeroG83 and JonnyCrah: your ears are right, but that's not the tuning. The tuning on a *standard* guitar is EBDGBE. The confusion comes because in the workshop where this was recorded, Don played the tune on his *baritone* guitar. Baritones are usually tuned 3.5 steps lower than standard (altho' I don't know what Don's usual tuning is on his baritone). So you are right: you hear lower notes than standard pitch, but if to play this on a standard guitar you'd tune to EBDGBE. __________________________________________________
ZeroG83 ::: Favorites 2007-09-11 23:15:31 CGCFAD sounds ALOT more like Don's tunning in this one then EBDGBE.... if you have any EAR whatsoever, the 6th string is obviously NOT an E. I'm still not 100% convinced CGCFAD is the correct one, but I'll see if I can't figure it out & post it. CGCFAD is very close though. __________________________________________________
JonnyCrash ::: Favorites 2007-09-08 00:18:37 Sorry, man. I'll read the summary next time before hand. Maybe I need to get my ears fixed. __________________________________________________
guitarmusic1 ::: Favorites 2007-09-07 19:36:28 Nope, as I posted in the vid summary, and as someone posted below, the tuning is EBDGBE ... standard tuning with the A raised one step to B. No question about it. __________________________________________________ |
