Agree, Pete would be the first to admit that he isn't a lead guitarist although he shocked me with his leads on Quadrophenia...nevertheless, in the early days of The Who for while also known as "The Numbers", they played a lot of R&B songs and Pete could play them just as good as anyone...he is also pretty much the Godfather of the power chord and an accomplished banjo player...

(Part 2 of comment) But I still believe that, like I said earlier, people should care more about people's work than their beliefs. For example, I do not believe in any of Mel Gibson's comments about Jews, but this does not change my belief that "Braveheart" kicked ass. And though I now admit that it is possible that Clapton has some prejudices against Indians, I still love his music, even though I have nothing against Indians.

Okay, you've got me there. I didn't know that Enoch's "River's of Blood" speech was directed towards Indians. I just assumed it was about blacks because, where I live, blacks are the most common minority. I admit English history is not one of my strongpoints, I probably should have researched this more before I got into an arguement about it. And, no, I'm not going to tell you that curry is Clapton's favorite dish, because I know that it probably isn't. (to be continued, reached max)

Clapton didn't like this very much (Love and Light Eric). I suppose you're now going to tell me that his best friend is a Hindu and curry is his favourite dish. Well sir it won't wash IT WON'T WASH AT ALL. Felicitations Shakeyspheres.

Sir, a brief lesson on racism. Do you think that racism is just the prerogative of a disease aimed towards black people? There are many different colours and creeds that could argue against that. ClappedOut - sorry i mean 'Clapton's' tirade to support the views of Enoch was against the Indian refugees fleeing Uganda from Idi Armin's despot activities. They were seeking a safe harbour in England.
