The union was imposed on Scotland through bribery and threat of armed invasion, with the military camped on the border ready to invade had we refused to sign it, after it was signed their were riots throughout Scotland, so to imply that we had a choice or even wanted it is inaccurate, infact the english spy Daniel Defoe himself stated that 90% of Scots were against it. __________________________________________________ | |

If the union has been so good for us, economically, then why have we the lowest rates of long term economic growth in the EU? Why have our population levels not changed in 50 years. The SNP said they were gonna cut our class sizes - bang out the window.
